This woman right here is killing it as a new mama. She has fallen into motherhood beautifully. Her little man is incredibly handsome, too.

Her birth was so full of emotion and support. It was so touching to see her family in the room, getting to witness as their newest family member enters the world. What a precious gift that is. That alone will form such a special bond between them all.

I loved listening to Lennox’s grandparents speaking Portuguese to him. It was beautiful. He is so lucky to grow up hearing two languages!

I arrived at the hospital just before 6am. Getting to photograph a morning birth is amaaaaazing. I happily got out of bed at 4:30am, knowing this baby would be coming in the next few hours. If only all babies could be on that schedule, that would be great. Ha.

Leila was a total rock star at pushing, and baby Lennox made his appearance at 12:33pm, weighing 8lbs 7oz.  

I LOVE including mini newborn sessions with my birth package. It is so special to witness families settling into their new life. Also, babies change so much after birth! It. is. unreeeeeal.
