This summer I had the opportunity to work with Kenna of Enhancing You by Kenna, and Kaitlyn of Styling with Kaitlyn. I reached out in the community for hair and makeup artists wanting to collab on a shoot, and these two ladies were available. It was so fun to work with them! They had great energy and they were able to provide the exact look I was going for for this session.

Kristen and Jesse were the cutest models. They are expecting their first baby, their son, any day! I can’t wait to get some baby snuggles in during their newborn session!

Before getting to our location, we started out at Kristen and Jesse’s house. Kenna and Kaitlyn got started on hair (Kaitlyn) and makeup (Kenna). It was so fun for me to watch!

I think getting pampered before a shoot is so special. These photos will last a lifetime, and if you’re able, why not invest some extra time in getting ready for the shoot?! Both Kenna and Kaitlyn work at Symmetrie Studios in Lynden. It is a brand new salon and SO beautiful. It is ran by the amazing Elizabeth Marie (Beauty by Elizabeth Marie) and Erika Apple (Crowns of Gold). Two boss ladies you need to check out!

Needless to say, I think investing in the whole experience is 100% worth it.
